Last month, Chris and Jena were married on a beautiful bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. For every wedding I shoot, I mentally rank the emphasis that the couple puts on certain aspects of their wedding day. The three things that stuck out to me the most about this wedding were the family, the food, and the celebration. That’s not to say that Jena and Chris didn’t have an incredible cake (and topper) with the most vibrant flowers I’ve seen all year. I’m just saying that you could tell what was important to these two and I’m thankful to have been a part of it.

Let’s start with the girls getting ready.
Guys never take long so let’s visit them right here to break things up.
Ok, back to the ladies. Jena’s getting into her dress with the help of her MOH, Abbey.
These two really are BFF. Check out their matching tattoos.
This is one way to get both parties in the same shot without the bride and groom seeing each other!
Let the ceremony begin!
This was such a wonderful little area just on the bluff to watch the sunset and take some portraits!
CAKE!
Here’s Chris about to short circuit.
These bridesmaids were lethal!
Dancing the night away.
