This is a bit different situation than I’ve been a part of before. Elizabeth and Matt are already married but it was just a very small justice-of-the-peace sort of thing. Matt had gotten a job in Europe and they had to be spouses for Elizabeth to receive the same emigrant status. After living apart, Matt’s back for a whirlwind tour to collect Elizabeth and whisk her off to Great Britain. Part of this tour will include a “re-marriage” where Elizabeth will be able to have something more glamorous than a fluorescent-lit courtroom :-). That will be happening tomorrow.

I met with these two in Ann Arbor for a couples shoot Dec 19th and the weather was awesome. The snowfall at the beginning of things really allowed for some sweet shots in the alleyways of downtown Ann Arbor. We then headed to the Arb for some nature-y winter-y shots.
