Marshall and Tina’s wedding in The Union at the University of Michigan was fantastic.
After arriving home late last night, equipped with my “Sleep when you’re dead” motto, I stayed up until all my memory cards had been downloaded onto my computer. With over 3,000 images and 75Gb worth of data generated yesterday, I cannot wait to get started before the dust settles (my online backup won’t take as long that way 
).

Many of you know I went to Uganda last October/November. For those who didn’t know, or haven’t seen the images I brought back, here’s a link to my flickr stream showing just images tagged with “Uganda”.
Oh yeah, so there was an aspect of this whole footloose business that I never got into. (It just didn’t flow with the rest of the previous blogpost) One of the images I took got turned into a digital billboard being shown around “the Zoo”. I think it turned out alright.
So I know it has been a while since I’ve posted. I’ve got a lot to share. This is part technique/tips part just a fun update. Lets dive on in.
They’re back! That couple I think are awesome: Jim and Bekah. This is the 2nd installment out of three and I’m really happy to focus on their adorable son. For our next photoshoot we’re going to focus more on the family unit (in case you were wondering).
I think Ben and Renée are great. I love it when I have friends and clients. These two are really good looking too so it’s always nice to add such a couple to my portfolio! Being around people who love each other makes me happy. We had a pretty ambitious shoot in very cold weather (considering what they were wearing) so I’m happy they both were able to handle the temps so we could get these shots.
Marshall and I are friends from college. I’ll start with that. It has been a pleasure for me to see his relationship with Tina grow and blossom towards marriage (IN THREE MONTHS!) I had a wonderful time hanging with these two back in Ann Arbor during this engagement. It was really cold and I’m so thankful they were both such troopers because I really like the shots we got together.
Sumeet and Amarinder invited me out to San Diego for this past New Years to celebrate their engagement with them. They specified that I bring my camera though, because that’s what I do. We woke up nice and early on New Year’s Eve for this engagement shoot which covered much of the San Diego area. Before I get into things, I just wanted to link to the post I made about the engagement party which happened later that evening.
I had a blast covering the engagement party of this charismatic couple. On New Year’s Eve I drove into the Californian country to Sumeet’s parents’ house where they were hosing a night of laughs, dinner, and dancing.
